Today as we move into the next part of Philippians we will see how Paul’s life is profoundly shaped by Christ; Christ is the centre of Paul’s life and ministry. Having Christ as the heartbeat of his life changes the way Paul views his own imprisonment and suffering.
Here are some suggestions for how you can be praying in your groups together:
- Spend time praising God for the salvation He’s given us in Christ
- Spend time confessing the things you’re prone to make central to your life instead of Christ.
- Spend time praying for the gospel to advance in our city and in our world.
- Spend time praying for our brothers and sisters throughout the world who are in chains or being persecuted for the sake of Christ. Consider visiting the Open Doors website to learn more about the persecuted church and pray. https://www.opendoors.org.au/get-involved/pray/
